Registered Dental Hygienist

Joanna is originally from Poland and moved to the US in 2002. She attended the Dental Hygiene Program at Harper College and graduated in 2010. Joanna is passionate about educating her patients in proper oral health techniques to ensure they live a healthier lifestyle. Outside of dentistry she enjoys biking, hiking and exploring places with her husband and two children.

My dental career began in 1988 when I graduated from Marquette University. I joined Dr. Balas in 1994 and have been a team member ever since. Over the years I have met so many families from our community and I am honored that they have trusted me to help them live a healthy and pain-free life. I strive to give each patient the individual care they deserve and a smile they can be proud of. I am grateful to be a part of an office that strives to be better every day and truly cares about our patients.
